For a suspense thriller this was pretty average, and for a Stephen King novel it's pretty weak. Jerome, Hodges, and Holly manage to uncover Hartsfield's real identity and search his computer hard drives. [Essentially, Bill Hodges - a 65 year old, overweight and somewhat grumpy loner instantly hits it off and develops a relationship with a much younger and attractive woman - sister of the woman whose car Mr Mercedes stole.
