Chingaza makes a great day trip from Bogota. From there we drove to a town in the countryside to pick up the guide, Don Lalo, and they even let me stop to get coffee and breakfast there. Remember that you have to pay your entrance ticket My wife and I did two tours and loved them both.

We were picked up at our hostel at scheduled time, continued to the park by car, got tasty snacks for our hike, hiked for a couple of hours, were dropped off back at the hotel. It is great to see you had a good time during your visit to the park and that Don Lalo and Juan were nice and friendly.

The Chingaza National Park is a wonderful nature destination for people that come to Bogotá and want to scape into a day of hiking, exploring and just having a good time.
