A great attraction is the railroad replica which travels around the area a must do when you are here in Kemah. You can enjoy it with the whole family , there is this cool place where the water would pop out of the ground for kids and even older ones to enjoy . Rides were actually fun and adolescents enjoyed them. I did not see much food options there.
We have been here many times and enjoyed it every time. For me, a senior citizen, it was just pleasant strolling around and having lunch from a spot overlooking the waters of the bay.Unfortunately when I visited it was a stormy day; the rides were still running but, we never got the chance to ride them since we were hesitant to start in case of another storm!Oh sweet Kemah, a fun and friendly place I used to love to visit as I was growing up. It looked like it would have been a carnival. There is an array of restaurants and fun for the whole family. They have decent amounts of rides there.
Not many people were wearing masks , but we wore ours when we went in the stingray area. Most of the carnival games are pricey and kitschy. Amusement rides and lots of food, while the only negative is the Texas heat in the summer. It's kinda dirty and it smells.This is one of the spots where I used to come as a child. There is a lot to eat and walk around , and games to play and usually live music all around the place .
Food and Fun, Play, Stay, Eat. The carnival like atmosphere is a definite place for kids. The team that works in the Aquarium, the boat ride, food stands, and the rides made me and my group feel so welcome. We take our kids by boat to the boardwalk frequently.
You can take a walk on the dock and watch the boats go in and out could be a nice little date spot.This place is so fun! But it was still an amazing time. Just 20 miles from downtown Houston, The Kemah Boardwalk is the perfect family get-a-way. Lots of awesome places to eat, such as the Cadillac Bar & Grill, Bubba Gump, and Flying Dutchman - where kids can play while waiting on your food or enjoying an adult beverage. We had lots of fun with the catfish!
Not what I would have expected for a boardwalk.
It has everything for everyone, and for any age group. We went on a Thursday evening and while all of the rides and restaurants were open, all of the games and most of the stores were not open. It is a great and fun environment for all the family. Even though parking was a hassle, but that's what happens when it's pack anywhere.Amazing place, filled with fun, great restaurants and people. Cheese. Didn't have a chance to go on those party Boat or private Boat tour so can't tell. The plaza has live concert and other entertainments. We wished we went when the rides were open. Train, carousel, seagulls, playground, splash pad, aquarium.... Only this is don't expect much with the water. Fun for the whole family.Great family fun place! !My go to place on Holidays. Also you can enjoy some drinks while walking in the boardwalk. It was nice just to walk around the place and enjoy the view.
