I've also encountered very nice and sweet people every time on my visit. It has a history for being an artist or writers retreat, which it is still great for that, but it has developed to so much more.Ojai has population growth measures that completely keep those issues under control.I expected a town with a spiritual vibe somewhere in between the vibes of Encinitas and Sedona.

It's a very tranquil town and is very clean which is an added plus compared to big cities. The town is picturesque with gift shops, an indoor/outdoor bookstore and lots of restaurants and inns.

Tourist are very abundant as well. An amazing one day visit is enough.OK, the tourists have increased exponentially, but this is still a classic small town USA, albeit now with hippies and yuppies.
The drive to Ojai is also lovely. The City had launched the program to allow fitness instructors to utilize areas of City parks for safe, physically distanced fitness classes. This groovy little city isn't too far from LA, hotels are affordable, many of wich have fireplaces and jacuzzis.
